The filters were made from rice husk ash, and white clay, as main materials, while calcium carbonate and poly (propylene carbonate) were used as binders and pore former.
The proposed filter’s operation does not require any special skills; materials used are locally available and easy to obtain and inexpensive [9-12].
Materials and Methods Materials White clay was obtained from Choci river bank at Yola South Adamawa State, Nigeria.
Both the nature of materials used and conditions of formulation affects the microstructures of ceramic filters and to a large extent the porosity of the filters.

Introduction A lot of scientists are closely connected with the studies of the green composite materials properties.
Wood plastic composites (WPC) are ones of them, because WPC are perspective and widely used materials in different branches of industry [1-3].
These materials not only have better mechanical properties, but also water resistance, barrier properties and fire resistance.

Material selection and fabricating methods can influence these factors.
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or polyester, and expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) are the current industry standard biomaterials for vascular prostheses, but the long term patency of the small diameter grafts using these materials is not good.

Introduction Advanced composite materials are currently attracting considerable attention for use in a variety of load bearing structures, such as aircraft fuselages and wing components, marine structures, wind-turbine rotor blades and other high-performance applications[1].
As a result, these high performance materials offer an attractive alternative to traditional metallic structures for many engineering applications.
