Abstract: Huangdao water sealed underground oil tank, which lies in Qingdao, Shandong province, is one of strategic reservoir of oil in China.
At present, common ways for rock mass evaluation are as follows: RMR classification method, Q system method, GSI classification method, classification method of rock engineering of Hydraulic and Hydro-Power Engineering and BQ method.
In order to ascertain the quality of the rock masses, 17 bore holes were drilled in the engineering site.
