Introduction Soil splash erosion is defined as a process of separation, dispersive and migration for soil grains when raindrops hit soil surface, which is an important part of rainfall erosion in natural.

Introduction Some of the major driving forces for the development of Al–Si cast alloys are the superior wear resistance, low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), high corrosion resistance, high strength to weight ratio, excellent castability etc. which make them potential candidate materials for a number of tribological applications in automobiles and other engineering sectors.
In hypereutectic alloys in which primary silicon can be present in several different forms like star-shaped, polyhedral and dendritic with unmodified plate or needle like eutectic Al-Si and few primary α-Al grains.

Table 1 Mineral composition of Several Alkalinity of the converter steel slag (%) Alkalinity C2S C3S RO CMS C2AS C3MS2 CaCO3 1.24 5~10 - 7~15 20~25 5~10 20~30 2.11 20~30 a little 15~20 - - - 5~10 3.07 5~10 35~45 15~20 - - - - 3 Problems of steel slag utilization The minerals of the steel slag are formed at high temperature (1600℃) for a long time, silicate minerals have plenty of time to form integrity crystal, which are coarse grains with high chemical stability.
If the steel slag powder is mixed up with slag powder, and the specific surface area of them is kept in the number of 450 m2/kg, when 20% ~ 30% steel slag is mixed in the compound powders, the activity of compound powders can reach or close to S95 level, which can meet the design requirements of the strength of concrete structure.

As a prospective new technology, IOT has great potential applications in the management of urban infrastructure including the following aspects: Intelligent Traffic As the increasing number of cars in cities, the traffic becomes more and more heavy.
Moreover, environmental issues can be better tackled, e.g. the carbon footprint of logistics - and supply chains more generally processes can be optimized based on the availability of dynamic, fine-grained data, collected in the real world directly by (or also retrieved with the help of) some of the “things” (such as trucks, pallets, individual product items, etc., depending on the case).

The Drucker-Prager model was considered for the specimen to render the pressure sensitivity and dilation behaviour of concrete. 3D computations allowed defining the number of radial notches for ensuring a homogeneous stress field in the shear zone.
R30A7 concrete is a common concrete containing hard siliceous aggregates with a grain size from 2 to 8 mm, sand, cement and water.

Fig. 3 (Left and Right) displays the 3D AFM images of thinner and thicker (0.95 to 7.45 µm) ZnO as grown layers respectively, where we can see that nanorods of height ~30 nm are vertically aligned but their grain size is increased due to diffusion process and eventually larger plateau like surface is developed.

Boron nitride has a wide range of attractive properties, including high-temperature stability and strength, a low dielectric constant, large thermal conductivity, hardness and corrosion and oxidation resistance, leading to a number of potential applications as a structural or electronic material.
Compare with quartz fiber, although slightly larger dielectric constant and dielectric loss for BN fiber, it has higher thermostability, its crystalline grain will not grow up and strength will not drop even in an inert atmosphere at 2000°C.

It is only related to the chemical composition and crystal structure of the material, and almost has nothing to do with structural factors, such as grain, orientation and stress distribution.

The contour numbers represent efficiency of power dissipation expressed in percent (η).
On the other hand, the existence of reinforcement is beneficial to the formation of dynamic recrystallized α grain.
