In the same context, the benefits of using new sorts of cementitious materials characterized by low thermal conductivity (low heat transfer) are to reduce energy consumption and ensure the comfort of the occupants of buildings [2,5], which led many researchers to study the thermal conductivity of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs).
On the other hand, the calcined mud (CM) is a local renewable dam's waste that proved its feasibility as supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) by many researchers [9-16].

Concrete can be classified as quasi-brittle materials which is the same as ceramics, rocks, some polymers, mortar and wood [4].
It can also be considered as a heterogeneous and multiphase materials [4].

Paper presents the results of experiments on multicapillary carbon-epoxy as a candidate material for a cathode of a pulsed electron accelerator.
Introduction Widespread use of electron accelerators as sources of ionizing radiation in various fields of science and engineering [1, 2] stimulates different developments the research of which is aimed at improving the performance of the accelerator as a whole as well as its individual parts.
An important problem for pulsed electron accelerators is a choice of material for an emitter for an electron diode [7, 8].
When testing of a new type or material of a cathode one should consider life time of the cathode as wells as its emission ability.

Abstract: PMMA-b-PDMAEMA/polysulfone composite membranes for CO2 separation was prepared by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization techniques.
Experimental Materials MMA and DMAEMA were purified by vacuum distillation, 2,2´-azo-bis(isobutyronitrile (AIBN), were used as received, The chain transfer agent (CTA): monocarboxyl-terminated trithiocarbonate derivative (MTTCD) was prepared according to the published document[19].
