The raw materials, rare earth Tm, transition metals Fe, Cr, and Si, were at least 99.99% in purity. 5% extra Tm was added to compensate for the loss during melting.
The materials were blended at a certain ratio.

This phenomenon can be used to indirect measure stress changes in the material.
Detailed analysis of applying system to assess the stress changes in materials for steel [2], concrete and mass rocks [3] were carried out.
The laboratory tests on different materials proved that change of the load changed the oscillation frequency of the system.
The bridge was repaired and renovated during its 70 years history by using different kind of steel and now it is difficult to assess the exact materials type, but the few survived documents mentioned 1045 steel type and this type was used in the model building.
