All data on weight and dimension change of wood samples were recorded at each step of the impregnation and cure procedure.
The curve of untreated wood samples showed that the main decomposition occurred at the range between 200℃ and 330℃, resulting in a mass reduction of 55%.
In comparison, the obvious weight loss of composites occurred at temperature between 240 and 320℃, leading to mass reduction of 30%, 24% and 20% at 320℃ for 16.5WPG, 22.8WPG and 30.3WPG, respectively.
