FA, a by-product from coal combustion, has been widely utilized for concrete production because of its beneficial effects on the engineering properties of concrete.
Incorporating this by-product can improve the engineering characteristics of concrete.
To study the effect of BA incorporation on the engineering characteristics of concrete pavement, BA was used to replace 50% and 100% (by volume) of crushed sand in the concrete mixtures.
The flexural strength is an important parameter used to assess the engineering quality of concrete.

Study on Influence of Water Based Capillary Inorganic Water Proofer on Concrete Performance Yijin Li 1, a, Yunli Gong 1, b 1 School of Civil Engineering, Central South University, Changsha, Hunan, China a gongyunli_1985@126.com ,b csuhpc@163.com Key Words: water based capillary inorganic water proofer; impermeability; carbonization resistance; wear resistance; corrosion resistance Abstract: The development of water based capillary inorganic water proofer is discussed in this paper.
By practical engineering application research, the influences of water based capillary inorganic water proofer on concrete strength, impermeability, carbonation resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance are summarized.
The effect of water based capillary inorganic water proofer on concrete performance The effect of water based capillary inorganic water proofer on concrete strength Study shows that compressive strength of concrete dealt with United States Carewel seal solidification agent increased by 27.3% than the untreated sample, while flexural strength increased by 2 times [5].Through engineering practice, Xiaoye Liang [6] shows that rebound value will increase when brushed by seal100, so he made a conclusion that compressive strength of treated concrete improved.

Industrial test on outer frozen shaft wall of high strength and high performance concrete YUE Zhong-wen1, a, ZHANG Hui1, b, DOU Bo-yang1, c 1School of Mechanics & Civil Engineering, China University of Mining & Technology, Beijing, China azwyue75@163.com, bzkzhh@qq.com, clemoond@qq.com Keywords: high performance concrete; frozen shaft wall; microcosmic and microscopic mechanism; construction technology; industrial test.
At present, overseas such as Japan, the United States, Canada and some other countries mostly research on high performance concrete, but they only focuses on surface engineering.
Thus, in this paper the engineering test of outer shaft wall of C100 high strength and high performance concrete was carried out based on the auxiliary shaft in Yuncheng Coal Mine of Juye coal mining area in Shandong Province.
Engineering situation The designed caliper of auxiliary shaft in Yuncheng Coal Mine is φ7.2m and the full depth is 936.8m, in which the topsoil thickness is 536.65m and the frozen depth is 594m.

Typically, the engineered barrier is composed of a concrete vault backfilled with sand/bentonite mixture.
Due to the nature of radioactive wastes, the disposal site is designed for a service life of 300 years or more, which is much longer than typical engineering or earth works [1].
