In the mid-1980s, the theme "the Potential Impact of Biotechnology on Composite Materials" was proposed by Professor H.M.Burtle.
Using laminate reaction synthesis to fabricate laminated composite material could control the thickness of membrane (sheet) material precisely.
With the increasing of the thickness ratio, the reaction at the interface is Fig.1 Macro-morphology of Ti/C laminated materials in different thickness ratios enhanced and the thickness of the reaction layer by diffusion also increases.The thickness of reaction layer from 21.7µm (the layer thickness ratio is 2:1) to 33.58μm (the layer thickness ratio is 3.5:1).

Researchers have made great progresses in woven materials of Akund fibre.
Then the textile fabrics of Akund that could meet the basic requirements of quality have been weaved. [6, 7]And nonwoven materials using Akund fibre has potential application in hygienic materials.
In this field, Huimin Huang [8, 9] and etc. have developed the methodology of producing nonwoven materials using Akund fibre, which has major significance in researches of nonwoven materials in China.
