During steel design, the best technique to achieve optimal
properties has been used, wiz. steel microalloying with nitrogen accompanied by some alloying
elements like V and Al [1, 2].

The levels of tensile properties and fatigue characteristics obtained were: YS ≥ 500 N/mm², TS ≥ 700 N/mm², El. ≥ 20%, Agt ≥ 10.3, σ-1smooth = 412 N/mm², σ-1notched = 250 N/mm² on a base of 107 cycles.

After the heat treatment, testing of mechanical properties was carried out focused on YS and TS, elongation (El.), CVN and Brinell hardness (HBW) testing.
