The main observations in the as-cast structure should be summarized as follow: Spherical precipitates had nanometric size, and the dendritic carbonitrides were mainly micrometric, with sizes, ranging from a few micrometers to more than 100 mm.
Furthermore, the dendritic carbonitrides had a complex chemistry comprised by different combinations of Ti, Nb and V, prevailing two types of precipitates, those rich in Ti and the ones based in Nb.
