Cuprous oxide and related materials in nanosizes are of much interest and investigated
extensively recently.
Introduction Semiconductor nanomaterials have been studied extensively owing to their special characteristics when compared to corresponding bulk materials[1,2] .
Its related materials such as CuAlO2 and Cu/Cu2O layered nanostructured materials have also obtained much attention[5,6] .
Moreover, the existence of P123 on Cu2O particle's surfaces protects the direct and quick aggregate of Cu2O particles to be bulk materials.
