Preface
The special issue of the "Defects and Diffusion Forum" journal named "Defects and
Diffusion Phenomena in Materials for Nuclear Technologies" contains selected peer-reviewed
papers covering various aspects of theoretical and experimental study of materials important for the
field of nuclear engineering.
The present issue is aimed at complex investigation of nuclear fuel and structural materials properties with considering defects features.
Defects and diffusion are key concepts at description of nuclear materials behavior at thermal and radiation impacts.
Evolution of various defects (such as point defects, dislocations, grain boundaries) determines changes of the materials properties under operating conditions.
We hope that this special issue will be useful for researchers and engineers in the field of material science and nuclear engineering.

Mischmetal added into the alloy can improve the mechanical properties of materials, but too much mischmetal will induce the decrease in the material performance.Becase it may generate more the coarse Al11(Ce ,La)3 particle.
Industry fine aluminum (99.99 mass %), Mg (AR), electrolysis Mn(CP),mischmetal(oxides) were used as starting materials.
The tensile specimens is the standard cylinder and processed according to rule of GB6397-86 “Mechanical Properties of Materials”.

Introduction
Additive manufacturing of composite materials is of great interest in current research and development.
Although Markforged printers are often used to manufacture functional prototypes and tools [7], these printers are closed systems, and hence any alteration in the materials and slicer parameters is not possible, limiting in this way their application for material research and development.

Nonlinear finite element method is a new finite element analysis method based on finite element on the basis of full consideration of materials or structure nonlinear change, not only can realize the characteristics of special point expression, also can realize the whole system's fault characteristic research, which is more close to the actual and can reflect the influence of fault to the whole system.
