In coupling method, the engineering load blast in LS-DYNA (*LOAD_BLAST_ENHANCED) was coupled with the ALE solver.
The implementation was based on a report by Randers Pehrson and Bannister [7] where it was mentioned that this model is adequate for use in engineering studies of vehicle responses due to the blast from land mines.
