Compared to magnetic fluids, magneto-rheological elastomer not only retains the magnetorheological material stiffness, damping control performance but also deals with the settlement, poor stability, sealing problems and so on, so it arouses scholar’s great interest in MR materials research in recent years [2-7].

Abstract.
Calcium carbonate is one of the most useful and abundant materials.
So preparation of superfine activated calcium carbonate from calcium carbide residue with propionic acid is a good method which can reduce the cost of raw materials and cannot cause environmental pollution.

This can prevent materials from being broken in the process because of no gas-liquid interface and zero surface tension.
It also retains the original structure and state of the material.
On the one hand, as a semiconductor materials, Fe2O3 has a narrow forbidden band width(Eg=2.2eV, λ=563nm, its absorption spectrum relatively match sun’s spectrum,it can make better use of the solar energy.
