Some relevant studies are doing in systematic acoustic vibration characteristic and detection and diagnosis area of the gear, such as Cheng Yang etc[5]. in Chongqing University, China, they propose detection of solid sound according to the gear noise transmission and use time-domain separation to identify gear fault and detect gear status; Debin Yang etc[6]. propose a gear fault diagnosis method of acoustic signal which combines independent component analysis with autocorrelation, using independent component analysis to separate the characteristic signal and interference signal of gear acoustic signals and using autocorrelation analysis to extract cycle components from the feature signal, then, they effectively extract gear fault features in the background of strong noise interference.
