The CFD simulation results suggest that the presence of spacers causes velocity fluctuation, high shear stress and high pressure drop.
In this paper, a two-dimensional CFD simulation for spacer filled membrane channel was conducted.
As it is shown in Fig. 2, the analytical results are compared with those from CFD simulations.
In order to study the effect of spacers’ location, a CFD simulation of channels filled with two spacers were conducted.
The CFD simulation also indicates that spacer of new shape gives significant reduction in pressure drop while the shear stress retains a comparable value.

Results and Analysis The result of CFD simulations for pressure distributions at the design 20º pitch angle are showed in Fig. 2.
The results of the CFD simulation are compared with the results of a set of experimental tests for MCT model at a designed blade pitch angles 20° as shown in Fig. 3.
For TSR > 6 both simulations tend to over predict the power coefficients.
Summary A comparison with the experimental results and other simulation results shows the applicability of using CFD as the tools to predict the hydrodynamic performance of horizontal axis MCT.
The agreement between all experiments and predictions was demonstrated for the design case at blade pitch angle 20º.The accuracy of the predictions is satisfactory for using the CFD simulation techniques to design the MCT.

And we reuse software ANSYS FLUENT to make simulation analysis of the negative pressure chamber for flow field .
So in this paper, we make a flow field simulation to gas suction drum precision seeding mechanism’s negative pressure chamber through using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) technology. 1.
The simulation analysis of negative pressure chamber air flow field which is based on the CFD technology Using the CFD technology, we solve the simulation of aspiration drum precision seeding mechanism’s negative pressure chamber air flow field can be divided into three steps: pretreatment (ICEM CFD), solving (ANSYS FLUENT), the post-processing (ANSYS FLUENT). 4.1 Pretreatment (ICEM CFD modeling and mesh division) By using the interface of CATIA software, the ICEM CFD software will leading in seeding mechanism geometric model.
So far ,the flow field’s simulation of gas aspiration drum precision seeding mechanism’s negative pressure chamber by using CFD technology is feasible.

In this sense, a water eductor system is studied, by carrying out a preliminary experimental program, for use in abrasive waterjet installations collector tanks, by CFD simulation process.
CFD simulation of fluid flow through eductor nozzle Following the simulation, the results obtained are: the maximum velocity is reached before the exit of the nozzle being the smallest diameter section and at the exit of the fluid nozzle the maximum velocity reached is 240 m/s which is enough to cover the 1200 mm tank width.
