Abstract.
Recent investigations on the performance of concrete made with coarse [4-7] and fine [8-10] recycled aggregate have given positive results, which support and encourage further investigation on the incorporation of these materials in the production of concrete and their subsequent use in civil engineering structures.

Stiffness Revising to Recycled Course Aggregate Reinforced Concrete Beams under Short-term Loading
Wenhui Bai
Department of Civil Engineering, Shaoxing University, Zhejiang Shaoxing PR.China, 312000.
The formula of short-dated rigidity can accurately calculate deflection under short-term loading of recycled course aggregate reinforced concrete beam, and can be referenced in engineering practice and correlative regulations.
Studying the bending performance of the reinforced recycled concrete beams plays an important significance in the popularization and application of the recycled concrete in engineering structure.
The author will make an comparison between the measured recycled concrete beam deflection values and the calculated value in code for design of concrete structures (GB50010-2002) (here in after referred to as " GB50010 ").Through the analysis according to the test data of this paper and the literature, the author intends to study the relationship between the short-term stiffness of the recycled concrete beams and the calculated short-term stiffness in GB50010, so that to provide a reference for the related regulations and the applications of the recycled concrete members in engineering.
