It can make full use of the strength and stiffness of plates and make materials most effective, integrate bearing, surrounding and decoration into a whole.
Through Example analysis, the following can been attained: As a result of the great whole stiffness for plate-cone reticulated shell, damage of partly materials has occurred before the structure buckles, and load when material damage are smaller than critical load when buckling.
Buckling sequences of members and plates are different for different materials of plates:damage of materials firstly occurs on the concrete plates when adopting concrete plates, damage of material firstly occurs on the members when adopting steel plates.
