The yield failure of the main tube materials is the most ideal failure mode of the casing-plug joints.
Therefore it is difficult to implement an ideal yield failure of the main tube materials.
(2) There are three kinds of failure modes of the casing-plug joints, including local buckling failure where the main tube or the casing is compressed, large zone yield failure of the main tube materials and yield failure of the casing material of the fixed end

If masonry materials of infill walls are different, the effects of infill panels on frame structures will be different.
Therefore, to avoid the associated failure mechanism caused by infill walls, lightweight masonry materials are suggested to be used in actual engineering.

ABSTRACT
It has been known for many years that the incorporation of metallic particulates into a ceramic matrix can bring about the improvement of the mechanical properties of ceramics.
In the present paper we report on the design and production of a new class of alumina-copper functionally graded materials (FGM) which have technological potential for application in automotive brake disks.

Generally, raw materials being preferred for activated carbon are agricultural wastes with lignocellulose content.
Aside from raw materials, characteristics such as surface area and pore structure of activated carbon largely depend on the activation method [7].
