Micro relative motion amplitude is small, its cause material injury usually appeared in two forms: Micro lead to wear: micro between the surfaces can cause surface wear, produce the material loss and component size change, cause member bite, loose, power loss and noise increase or formation pollution sources.
Various kinds of applied alternating load produce micro, can cause material wear and fatigue crack formation, resulting in the thread loosening, bite dead, fracture or fittings fatigue life down.
In view of the above factors, in order to improve pipe thread sealing performance, the actual should be paid attention to in the application from three ways: enhance the internal and external thread type and size of the processing requirements, make its as far as possible consistent, but there are certain limit, namely in the economic and the possible conditions guarantee in a certain tolerance range; inside and outside threaded and after, through some tightening torque make internal and external thread itself materials produce certain deformation to fill a part of the clearance; between the inner and outer thread has plasticity to join the packing.

Whereas under standard atmosphere, the weak ionization in air wouldn’t occur till the temperature arrives at 6000K, obviously beyond the thermal limits of available materials, and the velocity of vehicle need to achieve 12Ma in order to attain the corresponding temperature in inlet.
However, currently, available cryogenic superconducting materials require complicated cooling system and operating condition of low temperature which is uncomfortable for MHD applications.
At the same time, High-temperature superconducting materials are under testing, and may be realized commercially in the near future [11].
