Does Agriculture Responds Asymmetrically to Oil Price Change

Generally speaking, there are two seasons in a year for agricultural production(Xiaowei Yang, 2008), and it always converges in the tenth and eighteenth solar term according to Chunmei Tan(2006), when the agricultural mechanical work is also concentrated.
The demand for oil in the agricultural production is rigid growth in the farm diesel market (Lihong Wang, Zhihong Tian, 2009).
