Based on material flow analysis’s tow fundamental and well-established scientific principles of system approach and mass balance, input-output model is introduced to track CO2 emissions from China’s textile sector.
By doing this, one can track how a defined kind of material, useful or waste, flows into and out of a sector.Essentially, the model requires the calculation of standard input-output coefficients, and the matrix (A) is the resulted matrix of dividing transition table (U) by diagonal matrix of output (XD).
CO2 emission of textile sector comes directly from inputting energy as fuel and indirectly from both inputting domestic produced materials and importing.
