Severe plastic deformation leads to producing of ultra-fine
grained structures with an average grain size of the order of several hundreds nanometers in the
materials, which is the reason of the considerable change of mechanical and physical properties of
the materials.
Such materials have a high strength and reasonable plasticity [2].
Experimental materials and methods Iodide zirconium, subjected to double electron-beam remelting, was used as an initial material for the investigations.
