Many engineering materials exhibit different elastic properties under the extension and compression.
Among these materials, the concrete is a typical material which has different extension modulus and compression modulus.
Introduction A large number of tests and studies show [1-2] that many engineering materials have different elastic properties under extension and compression, such as plastic, ceramic, glass fiber reinforced plastics, certain metals, concrete, composite materials, and so on.
Concrete is one of the most commonly used materials in the engineering.
Journal of Hehai University (Natural Sciences), Vol. 1(2005), p94.

The fracture properties of the thermo-setting materials of epoxy asphalt mixture were
evaluated based on J-integral concept and ultimate strength and compared to that of HMA with
thermo-plastic binder materials.
Only a few materials can meet these requirements, among which is the newly developed thermo-setting materials named epoxy asphalt mixture (EAM).
One of the most powerful tools to study the fracture properties of engineering materials is to incorporate fracture mechanics tools in HMA characterization.
All the raw materials are provided by the Headquarter of Sutong Bridges.
Yehia: Journal of Materials Science Vol. 37(2002), p.557-566.

There are many reasons, such as prices of raw materials and products, management level, technical level and so on, among which low utilization level and optimization degree of the energy system plays roles of great importance.
The abstract unit (device) model of material flow M means materials, F means flow rate, I means the input, O means the output, and the input and output flow not only one, may many input and output flows, the same below.
For the air (absolutely dry), fibers and raw materials, the general mathematical model of their energy and exergy is expressed as the following Eq. 4

Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) is a thermo-electrical disintegration process, utilized to cut hard materials into complex shapes.
These days EDM is required for micro level manufacturing for low to high-temperature resistant materials, hard to cut materials and for better quality [2].
Eliminate the scrap produced while splitting dielectric and vaporization of materials. 2.
Materials considered for this experiment is AISI D2 STEEL which is mostly used for making dies, tools etc.
