However, high operation temperatures can create problems for the interconnecting and sealing materials [3].
However, the development of these composite electrolyte materials and their applications in LT-SOFCs is still being conducted.

Abstract
Geopolymer is a new class of three-dimensionally networked amorphous to semi-crystalline alumino-silicate materials, and first developed by Professor Joseph Davidovits in 1978.
Geopolymers can be synthesized by mixing alumino–silicate reactive materials such as kaolin, metakaolin or pozzolans in strong alkaline solutions such as NaOH and KOH and then cured at room temperature.
Particular emphasis has been placed on the waste materials with a view to developing geopolymers synthesised from the fly ash obtained as a by-product of coal combustion in power stations.

The progressive inclusion of these materials led to interesting conclusions.
As expected, the compressive strength decreased with the increasing amount of these materials.
However, for reasons of being more easily processed, compatibility with the construction materials and their availability in the market, only some of these materials may be used in a large scale.
