Foreign EV charging standards’ present situation
At present, EV charging standards in foreign countries are divided into three systems: the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Japanese Electric Vehicle Society (JEVS).
In view of our China’s electric distribution network for civil is single-phase, GB/T 20234.2 cancelled three-phase power supply charging ways, but kept consistent with IEC 62196 in interface structure to reserve space for future development.
