As a summary of the results and discussion in this work, it is important to comment that the residual coal from Vitoria, ES, which is Class IIA, can be collected with special permission from the environmental authorities and transported with the required care to Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ, to be added to clay ceramics for civil construction.
