Experiment Study of Adiabatic Shear Critical Conditions in Orthogonal Cutting of Fe-36Ni Invar Alloy

Orthogonal cutting experiments
The material used in this study is a forging bar of Fe-36Ni invar alloy and the chemical composition is listed in Table 1.
The material were then annealed at 1000°C for 2.5h within hydrogen and nitrogen, and the hardness after heat treatment is 140HBS.

The quartz sand dressing plant in the Jiaogan work area of Inner Mongolia have applied H2SO4 as modifier, fatty amine and petroleum sulfonate as collecting agent in the reverse flotation of removing the impurities such as potassium feldspar, generating the final products with SiO2 grade of 97.83% which can be used as raw materials for the production of float glass and high-quality steel cast sand.
After wet screening, material with particle size from 0.147mm to 0.044mm was selected to acid leaching.
