Both N-type and P-type Bismuth Telluride thermoelectric materials are used in a thermoelectric cooler.
Selection of Thermo Electric Material: Thermoelectric materials can be conveniently divided into three groupings based on the temperature range of operation.
In all of the above mentioned TE materials, performance of the Bismuth-Telluride peaks within a temperature range that is best suited for most cooling and heating applications.
