Introduction
At the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Technical University of Ostrava, Department of Urban Engineering, an important project is being solved in terms of BIM and Facility Management.
Three objects were selected for the project: · Faculty of Civil Engineering, · University kindergarten, · Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
In parallel with this, the BIM model of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the University Nursery School and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics is being created.

And there is unreasonable in Chinese technical regulation of design for tower and pole structure of overhead transmission line and guide for design of transmission tower by American society of civil engineers about the formula of limiting width-thickness ratio.

Conclusions The influence of slenderness ratio on limiting width—thickness ratio has not be taken into account in guide for design of transmission tower by American society of civil engineers and Chinese technical regulation of design for tower and pole structure of overhead transmission line.
