Unified Strength Theory
Based on the twin shear strength theory, a new strength theory is established by Yu in 1991 which considered the effects of intermediate principal stress and can be applied to a variety of different materials.
As for most of the metallic materials, the tensile strength is equal to the compressive strength.
Therefore, the material tension-compression strength ratio.

Abstract.
Introduction Copper and copper-based alloys are widely used as electric and electrode materials due to their good conductivity.
Experimental TiB2 (99.5%, <325mesh) and copper (99.5%, <325mesh) powders were used as raw materials.

The selection of materials for lightweight construction is related to part qualities such as strength, density, stiffness and corrosion resistance [1].
All samples are from a single lot of materials and were taken from all three (0˚, 45˚, 90˚) rolling directions to observe material anisotropy.
