Yang et al.[6] studied the method to extract the feature in time domain by using the wavelet packet decomposition.
Yang et al. extracted the feature from the reconstruction signal reconstructed by the wavelet packet decomposition coefficients represented different frequency band.
This method presented by Yang et al. can not only recognise the bearing fault, but also exact the signal feature contained in one particular frequency band.
