Keywords: Industrial waste, Calcium carbide slag, Limestone, Calcium containing raw material.
But, there are many differences in decomposition temperatures between the calcium containing raw materials.
Compared with limestone materials, calcium carbide slag has a higher content of CaO, less loss on ignition, a lower alkali content, higher sulfur and chlorine contents.
There are many differences in decomposition temperatures between the two raw materials.
Xu, Application of carbide slag in pollution treatment [A],Journal of Shenyang Institute of Engineering(Natural Science). 6 (2010) 211-214,217.

The manufacturing technologies are fully developed and raw materials are cheap.
Standard epoxy or polyester materials are capable for temperatures up to 150 °C before they start to degrade.
The complex processing and the high priced raw materials make them unattractive for series parts.
Inert and active filler materials minimize this issue, hence fiber reinforcement is an option.
Fig. 9: Volume of wear of the tested friction materials after pin on disc measurement Further tribological investigations will concentrate on that temperature window, combined with different fiber architecture and filler materials.

As a porous medium, the strength of cement-based materials is significantly affected by its porosity.
Introduction It is well known that the compressive strength of cement-based materials is an important design parameter in civil engineering.
Cement-based materials is a typical kind of porous medium with complex microstructure and it was recognized long ago that porosity plays an important role in strength of cement-based materials.
Conclusions This paper proposed a new method for predicting the strength development of cement-based materials based on a developed microstructure hydration model.

Compared to Si [1], III-V materials and Group-Ⅳ alloys have much higher electron and hole mobility.
Therefore, it is of great significance to study the bowing factor of lattice constant of alloy materials for understanding the structural properties of materials.

In order to develop
the asbestos-free reinforced friction materials, carbon fiber and steel fiber are used in materials
which possess good wear-resistance and fade-resistance at high temperature [3].
According to the applications of friction materials, in this paper polymer matrix friction material reinforced with fibers was studied.
The physical and chemical changes in friction materials were also analysed. 2.
