Additive Manufacturing with metallic materials is in the cross-road to make its breakthrough for a considerable manufacturing method for actual production parts [3].
Designs with multiple materials can be also produced depending on the AM technology.
The most optimal solution is of course the situation where no support materials and post-processing are needed.
