Keywords: Damage identification; Vehicle-bridge system; Laminated composite beam; Finite element.
Introduction Recently, the damage identification based on the global dynamic characteristics of structures has become a topic of very active research in civil and mechanical engineering.
Housner et al. [3] summarized on state-of-the-art methods in control and health monitoring of civil engineering structures.
For large civil structures such as long-span bridges, it is normally difficult to excite them by impulsive or sinusoidal loads, so the passing vehicles are more suitable as excitation sources.

Keywords: finite element, castellated bending member, stability bearing capacity
Abstract: Recently, polygon hole castellated steel beams have been studied and applied which had better social and economic benefits.
In this essay, ANSYS that is a kind of finite element software had been used to analyze castellated bending members, and characteristics of stability bearing capacity in moment plane of regular hexagon hole castellated steel components had been studied that can provide references to engineering design.
The castellated member have been widely applied and studied in engineering which is a type of economical component form.
Consequently, castellated members have great practical value in engineering application [1].
