New composite materials that reduce the effect of reinforcement corrosion Vasile Constantinescu1, a, Gheorghe-Veniamin Bogus1, b, Rares George Taran2, c and Ioan Carcea1, d 1Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi-Romania, Faculty of Science Materials, Blvd.
Corrosion degrades the useful properties of materials and structures including strength, appearance and permeability to liquids and gases.
Corrosion affects practically all building materials, not only steel, concrete or reinforced concrete.
New Composite Materials A short analyse on two of the most recent composite materials that can reduce the attack of corrosion on reinforcement will be made. 3.1.

The influence of the degree of homogeneity of the SiO2 sol on the duration of the induction period and the quality of fire-resistant coatings on textile materials was studied.
The fire resistance of textile materials is affected, first of all, by the quality of applying a fire-resistant coating to them.
However, the use of such sols for tissue impregnation is undesirable, because it leads to partial destruction of the threads and loss of strength characteristics of textile materials.
