Because it has simple structure and easies to operate, direct shear test is a test method which is the most commonly used to get soil, joints, and specific material strength at the field of geotechnical engineering .Therefore, correctly and efficiently dealing with the result of direct shear test data as much as possible close to engineering practice is particularly important.

The realization of lightweight designs in automotive engineering therefore requires not only the development of new materials, but a closer examination of existing materials as well in order to expand their potential and limits of application in the body in white.
Investigations aimed at improving the formability of these materials have been conducted for many decades. [3], [4], and [5] present an important part of the scientific investigations, which concentrate primarily on the heat treatment of aluminum alloys either before or during a forming process.
A simple method to quantify the effect of heat treatment on the material hardening behavior is to calculate the difference of the yield stress (Δσ) between the base material at room temperature and the pre-strained heat treated material.
