Study and application on airport clearance based on Secant Method in gauss projection algorithm for inverse solution ZHANG Xian-min1,a ,LIU Ya1,b,LI Gang1,c,XIA Fei1,d 1Airport College, Civil Aviation University of China, Tianjin, 300300, China acauczxm@126.com, b1044511958@qq.com, c715051788@qq.com, d949603289@qq.com Keywords: Secant Method; Gauss-Krueger projection; plane rectangular coordinates; Geographical coordinates; airport coordinate Abstract. This article adopts WGS-84 Coordinate, applying the Secant Method successive approximation to solve geographic coordinates according to the Gauss-Krueger formula, realizing the transformation from plane rectangular coordinates to geographic coordinates, using the coordinate translation and rotation formula to achieve the transformation between the airport coordinate and Gauss plane rectangular coordinates, thus geographic coordinate, gauss plane rectangular coordinates and the airport coordinate can change into each other.
Because of the complexity of the Gauss projection formula, there is not available solution of practical engineering.
During the process of airport clearance evaluation, convert geographic coordinates to airport plane coordinates first, then set up mathematical model on the basis of airport clearance limit parameter according to the airport clearance limit of international civil aviation organization (ICAO) annex 14 or Air navigation service program - aircraft operation (PANS - OPS) (DOC8168) , determine which limit in-plane obstacles fall into, and compare the barrier height with the clearance limit height according to the established mathematical model, thus determine whether super elevate or not.
