Introduction With the development of technology, hard and brittle materials such as silicon, glass and ceramics, have been used increasingly.
These hard and brittle materials have many outstanding physical and chemical properties, such as wearing resistance, anticorrosion and insulation.
Traditionally, the methods of sawing hard and brittle materials are mainly using diamond cutting tools, such as diamond blade saw, diamond band saw, etc.
Diamond bead saw cannot be used to cut valuable materials, such as ceramics, crystal[4,5].

Under confinement, this expansion can generate significant expansive pressure, which causes cracking of rock or concrete, when it exceeds the tensile capacity of the surrounding materials.
Reaction process of SCA in large scale borehole SCA is powdery materials that expand considerably when mixed with water through chemical hydration, by the formation and development of Ca(OH)2 crystals [9].
