A elliptic air hole and its inscribed circular high refractive material form the core of PCFs together.
PCFs are single-material fibers with an arrangement of airholes running along the full length of the fiber, and they provide confinement and guidance of light in a defect region.
In the core part, one air hole is replaced by a combination of one elliptic air hole and its inscribed circle solid material with high index.

The inclinometer tube is made of plastic materials, and is often exposed to the sunshine, which may result to changes in its structural behavior.
(3) Eliminate the influence of temperature on the measurement data Because the probe is made of elastomeric material, it will deform within a certain range influenced by temperature change.

A compressive stress–strain relationship was adopted to simulate the in-filled concrete material under compression.
Based on the mechanical list of the material section in Abaqus/CAE, elastic and plastic properties were obtained to identify CFS properties.

Reinforcement details and stud layout (measurements in mm) Material properties The tensile properties of the steel plates, reinforcements and studs were determined from tests on random samples.
The first crack loads of the SPCC beams were calculated in the same way from known values of the properties of materials, and the experimental values were obtained from observed first crack loads in the tests.
