According to the request of National Nature Science Foundation, the new
diffusion welding method is put forward, that is the liquid-phase-impacting (LPI)
diffusion welding.
In this paper, the mechanism of LPI and microstructure of welded joint of aluminum matrix composite SiCp/101A have been studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and TEM, etc. 2 Experimental material and process 2.1 Experimental Materials The 101 aluminum matrix composite reinforced with 20% volume fraction SiC ∗ Funded by The National Nature Science Foundation of China (No.50171025) particulate with mean size of 12µm, was made by stirring casting.

Materials and Methods
PET films (purchased from 3M Company) of 7x7cm
2 in size were washed by acetone, chloroform,
deionized and water respectively, and then dried at room temperature.
Our previous report [5] gave the formula of free energy of adhesion between materials and bacteria: ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) [] +−−+ +++− −−−+ −−−+ +−+ +−−−−−=∆ BSBS LB SL LB SL LW L LW B LW L LW S LW B LW S AdhF γγγγγγγγγγγγ γγγγγγ 2 2 2 2 .
Table 1 Contact angle (in degrees) and surface energy components of bacteria cells and supporting materials (in mJ/m2) Conclusions The chains of chitosan were successfully grafted on the surface of PET by plasma inducing and ultraviolet radiation.
