The building of engineering facilities on peaty soils is a complex process, it implies complication of the constructive decisions and as the consequence – cost increase.
Industrial facilities and civil engineering infrastructure are very sensitive to settlement when placed on peat.
Morarescul was the first author who wrote about foundations and grounds of industrial facilities and civil engineering on a peat soils.
The experiment was conducted in an interdepartmental experimental science lab of TSUACE (Tyumen State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering).

Abstract: Peat soil are widely distributed, and because of its special geological reasons, the severity of the problem to determine the Dian Lake region soft foundation and engineering difficulty of processing.
This paper presents the methods through experiments with solidifying materials mixing into peat soils to strive to find a complex solidifying agent meeting the demand of engineering and special to peat soil.
Introduction The characteristic of peat soil with high water content (about 75%~85%), high porosity, organic matter content, strong compression and slow strength, slow consolidation determine the soft foundation in the Dian Lake area and the severity and the arduousness of Engineering Treatment.

The Contractor is obliged to submit them to the Employer / the Engineer for approval.
