Three-point bending specimens of MgAl are loaded by MTS material testing equipment and Hopkinson pressure bar.
Crack grows slowly for ductile material MgAl.
If the material is brittle, it is necessary to reduce loading when crack grows quickly. 0.0 0.5 1.0 1.5 2.0 2.5 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Load (KN) Crack Mouth Open Displacement (mm) 0.95(P/V)0 pq Fig.1 Specimen model sketch Fig.2 Curve of crack open displacement vs loading Static fracture experiment Three-point bending specimen is loaded slowly by MTS material testing machine.

These materials are mostly electrical insulators.
In the 1960s, the quality of these materials has been improved.
Subsequently, many types of electroactive polymers were created [1], including composite smart materials.

Introduction Er doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) have used silica or silicate glasses based fibers as host materials because the characteristics of the materials for optical fibers are similar to those of the silicate glasses.
However, the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of these materials is about 45 nm with a non-flat gain at 1550 nm.

Introduction The lithium-ion battery cathode materials with a layered structure have been extensively studied because of its high-quality capacity (more than 200mAh / g), good safety characteristics and potential low cost.
Then the oven was turned off and let the materials cooled inside the oven to room temperature.
The obtained materials LiNi0.75Co0.15Mn0.1O2 was ground.

On Fig. 1, taken from [1], the car structure of a decade old model of Audi is presented, which is a combination of aluminium and steel materials.
In such situations temperature change cannot be neglected because connected materials have considerably different coefficient of thermal expansion.
The previous conclusion is derived after a comprehensive research of the available literature in the field of combining two different materials in general.
Bonding is recognized as suitable solution for shear connections between composite materials.

However, HDPE can not be used as construction materials because of its low strength and poor environmental stress-cracking.
In this paper, fumed silica which has been modified by γ-aminopropyl triethoxy silane(KH-550) as an inorganic filler, high-density lorinated polyethylene as a basis material, the twin-screw extruder and injection molding machine are used to blend and shape these two materials, and trough many mechanics tests, the author studies systematically the effecting rule of fumed silica content on the mechanical properties of compound material.

Introduction Texture of materials causes anisotropy in material properties and sometimes can determine material performances.
Generally, heavily deformed materials develop distinct microstructural features such as deformation or slip bands due to inhomogeneous deformation.
It can be concluded that the pattern quality is superior to the Taylor factor in the estimation of stored energy in real polycrystalline materials.
The grains belonging to <001>//ND orientation are easily deformable, i.e. soft, materials because of their low Taylor factor.
