Over the last years, special attention [9–11] is given to the chemical reaction processes in heated layers of thermally decomposing forest fuel materials.
Thermal decomposition of forest fuel materials reaction suppression time dependences on temperature in the “water slug” trace at Lf = 0.04 m Fig. 3.
Conclusion The characteristic times of thermal decomposition (of forest fuel materials) reaction suppression at typical temperatures in the “water slug” trace and the thicknesses of the heated material layers have been revealed as a result of conducted numerical investigations.
