According to Bignozzia [10], sustainable building materials are usually based on recycling of proper waste that, thank to its own characteristics, can partially and/or entirely replace natural materials deriving from no-renewable resources.
Mixture name of the different composite materials were : P0 (without plastic waste), P6, P12 and P17.
Houivet: submitted and accepted to Environmental Engineering and Management Journal (EEMJ), (2013).

These results suggest potential applications of the present synthesized materials from FGD gypsum in industries such as ceramics casting and dental materials, where precise control over material properties is critical.
Material and Methods Chemicals and materials The FGD gypsum was supplied by the Mae Mao power plant in Lampang Province, Thailand.
This aspect ratio is ideal for many applications, such as ceramic molds, casting, and dental materials, because it offers better mechanical strength.

Improving the optical response of tellurite glasses via controlled doping of rare earth is the key issue in lasing materials.
Introduction Rare earth doped glasses are attractive due to their widespread applications in sensor, color display, laser technology, optical storage materials and optical communication, to cite a few [1, 2].
The increase in EUrb from 0.226 to 0.308 eV with the increase of Eu3+ concentration is ascribed to the lack of crystalline long range order in glassy materials [18].
