Materials and Hardness Testing The testing pipeline steel was taken from the 508mm diameter pipe.
The chemical composition of the materials is given in Table 1.

For infrared temperature measurement, the vast majority of material is opaque, so emissivity is only a function of surface condition which is always obtained by experiments.
The materials made of bridgewire during the experiment in this paper is Ni-Cr alloy, so the emissity is considered to be 0.98 according to literature [15, 16].
