Scientists are continuously trying to develop new polymeric materials by replacing petroleum-based products with the renewable resources originated from edible or non-edible plant-derivatives.
By tailoring the properties of lignin with suitable polymers, materials with new and unique properties, low cost, recyclability, biodegradability and environmental friendly, could be produced [7].
Experimental Materials.
After cooled for two hours, the cooked mixture (known as black liquor) was sieved to remove fibrous materials.Later, 10% of sulphuric acid was slowly added into the black liquor to get pH 5.5 (the black colourof liquorchanged into murky brown).

In the mix proportion design of HVFAC, the three-dimension model is found by the relation of strength to water-cementitious materials ratio, and ash-cementitious materials ratio(i.e. the dosage of fly ash), and with water-cementitious materials ratio and ash-cementitious materials ratio increasing its strength is decreased by nonlinear way.
And water-cementitious materials as decreasing as possible and suitable using long age latent strength is the technical key of mix proportion design for HVFAC.
Due to the dosage of fly ash in HVFAC is very large, low early age strength is one of shortcomings in practical application under lower total comentitious materials.
Using ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS) instead of cement, the CH content of paste is much higher than that of fly ash cement so that the carbonation resistance of mineral cement materials is obviously higher than that of fly ash cement materials.
