When considering their possible applications, the fatigue resistance of photochromic materials has been considered.
Materials and Methods Woven fabric, a blend of polyester and cotton 65:35, was printed with Photopia Purple Ink (Matsui) of a concentration of 100 g.kg-1 using a screen printing technique.
A standard method of fatigue resistance test of photochromic materials is based on a relatively high number of necessary cycles that cause a 50% decrease of initial shade intensity/optical density.

Religious belief plays an essential role for the style of houses and gardens in Bali Island, which is illustrated from 4 typical aspects as follows: Materials and colors.
Such natural materials as stone, wood, dry grass and clay are the most popular material for housing building.
Believing in all living things are god, residents in Bali choose to living in shelters made of natural materials to get close contact and communication with nature, or god.
In addition, original colors of materials as grass used in the roof, stone and soil in the wall and wood as the beam and column were mostly kept.

To meet the increasingly high requirements for materials in the construction, nano-SiO2, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and steel (ST) fibers were added into UHTCC to improve the mechanical property and control the crack width.
Hence, to satisfy the increasingly strict requirement for the materials in different kinds of construction such as high-rise buildings and nuclear power plant, better performance of the matrix and fibers in the mechanical properties are significantly desired.
Moreover, as fibers can effectively bridge the cracks and increase the deformability of materials, different fibers have also been added in the cementitious composites.

Because the viscosity was higher than other melted materials, it could not be taken from the crucible.
Materials of the supporting glass (oxide glasses of boron oxide system, phosphoric acid system, and boron anhydrate system) are stable oxides that are incombustible and insoluble.

This study aims at evaluating heavy metal levels in the sediments of the XJR in Changsha section using Igeo and RI Method, which can provide scientific basis for controlling and governing the XJR pollution. 2 Materials and the methods 2.1 Selection of sampling stations According to the characteristics of the XJR valley in Changsha section and spatial distribution of pollution source, six sample stations were selected along the XJR flow direction: XJR Super Bridge (S1), Houzishi Bridge (S2), Juzizhou Bridge (S3), the Second XJR Bridge (S4), Liuyang River entrance of XJR (S5), XJR Sanchaji Bridge (S6). 2.2 Sample collection and the pre-treatment Without disturbing of surface sediments, 20cm surface sediments were collected, and then sediment samples were carried to the laboratory within 6 hours, filling in polythene bags.
Based on an overall analysis of Cd, Pb, Zn and Cu RI, pollution levels in six sections were almost as the same as Igeo method result. 5 Acknowledgements This research was supported by the Science and Technology Plan General Projects of Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province (No. 2010SK3022) and the Opening Foundation of the Key Laboratory of Water-Sediment Science and Water Disaster Prevention of Hunan Province (No. 2010SS04). 6 References [1] Peng Jing, Li Zeqin, Hou Jiayu, Application of the Index of Geo-accumulation Index and Ecological Risk Index to Assess Heavy Metal Pollution in Soils, Guangdong Trace Elements Science, 14 (2007) 13-17
