The study has provided necessary knowledge and experimental data for the determination of fire-resistance performance of glulam beams in the fire code of China.
In order to apply innovative technologies and materials to address climate change in building energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction, MOHURD and the Ministry of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), the Ministry of Forests and Range of British Columbia, Canada (BC Ministry of Forests) signed an MOU on the application of modern wood frame technology in building energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction.
It has been expected that these tests would provide necessary knowledge and experimental data for the determination of fire-resistance performance of beams in Code of Design on Building Fire Protection and Prevention[1]. 1 Fabrication and material Different cross-sectional glulam beams have been selected.
The furnace temperature and the deformation of the beam were recorded at 1 minute intervals through computer data acquisition system and the pressure inside the furnace was recorded at 5-minute intervals. 2.4 Test results.

According to actual transmission behavior of the channel environment over low voltage power line, M-ary Quantum Evolutionary Algorithm (MQEA) is proposed to allocate bit and power on different sub-carrier channel, which maximizes the total data rate of the system in a downlink transmission with a total power and bit-error rate(BER) constraints.
Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieve a higher data rate.

Immersion in SBF for a period of 14 days showed a significant reduction in the viability following 24 hours of incubation compared to that in deionized water incubated for 48 hours.
All data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation of 3 independent observations.
In the case of 7-day immersion, the deionized water treatment induced more reduction of the cell density after 24 hours of incubation.
In particular, immersion in SBF for a period of 14 days showed a significant reduction in the viability following 24 hours of incubation compared to that in deionized water incubated for 48 hours (p ˂ 0.05).
Based on our data obtained, it might be that the conductivity of SBF could improve wettability of a material.

This article describes the development of an automated optimization procedure that allows the matching of a residual stress Target Profile by varying process parameters and tool geometry for a typical aeronautic superalloy, such as Waspaloy, for which a reliable numerical model has been developed for comparison to experimental data.
Using an ”Optimal Latin Hypercube”, the procedure sets up the FE machining model and runs, in batch mode, the AdvantEdge FEM simulations (FE Analysis block) to calculate the process responses of interest for each given DOE configuration; 2. for each considered cutting condition, the data related to the mean values of cutting force, thrust force, maximum tool temperatures are calculated in steady state conditions, while for residual stress the four characteristic points are extracted from residual stress profile (Results Dataset block); 3. using the data extracted from FEM simulations, “RSM Constraint Models” block generates: the cutting forces, the temperatures and the residual stress metamodels that analytically define the problem constraints; 4. after these preliminary steps “ISIGHT Optimization” block runs the optimization algorithm to find out the best configuration of cutting parameters, in accordance with the optimization problem statements and through the MRR objective function
The use of numerical results to optimize cutting parameters provides significant savings of time and costs reduction.
The RSM Models have been created through data extracted from FE simulations performed considering a 64 point Optimal Latin Hypercube Design of Experiments.

These auhors all suggested calculation formula bending rigidity of ordinary concrete beams by dividing a reduction coefficient on the basis for calculation formula of bending rigidity of ordinary concrete beams in the the code for design of concrete structures(GB 50010-2010) (CDCS).
Because the number of their beams used when doing experiment are limited, the accuracy of reduction coefficient which is obtained by linear regression on the basis of limited number of experimental beams deserves further study.
This paper collected a total of 41 sets of test data of 21 recycled concrete beams in the literature [2-8].
