Carbon nanotube is a new kind of carbon material.
Introduction Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were a kind of one-dimensional carbon nanophase materials.
These materials with high thermal stability will cause the catalyst particles failure and CNTs growth stopped eventually.

Likewise, natural fiber when compressed consists of similar structures to that of the above materials.
In conclusion, flame retardants have enabled the usage of natural raw materials which have evident environmental and sustainability benefits over man-made materials.

Its absorption region consists of 20×Si1-xGex/Si quantum wells instead of Si or Ge bulk materials.
Unlike GaAs-based materials, epitaxiial SiGe/Si layers cannot be used as the distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) because of small difference of refractive index and large lattice mismatch between Si and Ge.
